Against all odds, the wackiest names often come from a combination of inspiration and pure pragmatism. A cute name can get pretty wacky when nicknames are added to the mix. Case in point: Munchie McPurryToes.
“She was such a cute little munchkin when I got her at 3 months old, but ‘Munchkin’ was too much of a mouthful, so it quickly got reduced to Munchie,” says pet mom and Nationwide pet insurance member Morgan S. “From the moment I got her, she purred like an engine every time she snuggles up—and she does love snuggling very, very much—so, to capture her loud, reliable purr, I added McPurryToes as her last name.”
Morgan decided to get pet insurance after another pet’s health problems led to significant financial strain. She says, “As I was adding a new cat—Jehosacat McSqueeker or JoJo for short—I wanted to make sure I could afford the best care for both he and Munchie.”
