“Cats are kind of demonic, but in a fun, charming way,” says cat mom Margot. “We love a good pun and were originally planning to name one cat ‘Lucipurr’ and the other ‘Meowzebub.’ Once we brought our kittens home, it became immediately clear that this orange menace needed both names. Thus, Lucipurr Meowzebub, Lord of Cats.”
Margot says, “Lucipurr has two extra thumbs on both front paws, and he uses them with deeply unsettling confidence.”
She adds, “Between the thumbs, the determination and the orange-cat audacity, it sometimes feels like we’re living with a tiny orange cryptid.”
