Some people consider large dogs to be intimidating. But, despite his forceful name, this wacky pet is just a big 130-pound softy. Meet Danger JR.
“Danger JR was named after my first Doberman,” dog mom and Nationwide pet insurance member Michelle B. says. In fact, he’s from a long line of lovable Dobies in her family, including Danger (the first) and his sister, Lucy Lui.
“Dobermans are viewed as these scary protectors. In reality, they’re scared of everything—but fiercely loyal,” Michelle says. “Both Danger and Danger JR are alike in so many ways, it's quite funny. And ‘danger’ does not describe these overgrown lap dogs.” In fact, Danger JR is often bossed around by his much-smaller sister, Lucy Lui: “She gives him what's what.”
