When choosing the right wacky pet name, there’s no one list of doo-doo, doo-doo, doo-dos and doo-doo, doo-doo, doo-don’ts—but it helps to find something that sticks in your head.
Many of the best wacky names come right from popular culture, and few things are more ubiquitous than the Baby Shark song (especially if you’re a parent with human little ones, too). For this Jack Russell terrier, her fin-spired wacky name was an especially natural fit. “She snaps her jaw when playing with her,” pet mom and Nationwide pet insurance member Kathy H. reports.
Like any shark—baby or otherwise—Babyshark knows the value of making a big splash. However, she does it by moving a little like a fish out of water. “She runs around the yard jumping,” Kathy says.
The tooth of the matter is unexpected things happen all the time. To protect her sharky pup from surprise veterinary expenses, Kathy opted to get pet insurance from Nationwide. “It’s offered through my employer,” she says.
