The vast cosmos offers meaning to us earth-bound humans. Historically, the zodiac has been used in finding direction, both for navigation and for seeking meaning in everyday events. In search of a wacky name for his pup, dog dad Zemri K. likewise turned first to the stars. From there, everything else came together: “Aries is named starting with her zodiac sign.”
But in the great beyond, anything is possible: threads of light suspended across eons, boundless wackiness, even a boxer mix with an intergalactic appetite. Zemri says, “The rest that follows is a line of somethings that I think are just the coolest—amethyst is a cool purple, then the idea of Aries being a WORLD EATER was even cooler.”
Naturally, this mashup of names comes with a mix of modes. “Whenever she’s about to get up and run around or if we’re playing, she will throw her ears back,” Zemri says. “We call it her sport mode.”
Both world-eating and “sport mode” come with potential risks, which is why Zemri opted to get pet insurance protection for his pup. “Nationwide was [available through] my work, and I loved the options.”
