The vethelpline is there when you need it. Our experienced veterinary experts are available 24/7 to provide expert guidance, from general questions to identifying urgent care needs—because early detection is crucial for preventing small problems from becoming big ones. vethelpline is not a substitute for a visit to your primary veterinarian.
No question is too big, or too small. vethelpline experts are available to provide guidance on your pet’s health, behavior and wellbeing, as well as address urgent toxicology, emergency and critical care concerns. A quick call or chat with our experienced veterinary experts can help you determine if a veterinary visit is needed and when to seek emergency care. They can also prepare you for your visit, advising on what the veterinarian will need to make a diagnosis and what potential treatments they may prescribe.
Current regulations dictate that medication can only be prescribed over the phone or online by a licensed veterinary professional who has examined your pet in person. Because the vethelpline experts have not seen your pet in person, they cannot order prescriptions on your behalf.
vethelpline by Nationwide covers all dogs and cats in the household, up to 10.
