Sunscreen for Dogs

Protect Pets from Burns and Cancer

Did you know dogs can suffer from sunburn too? A dog's fur or hair does not protect skin from the harsh rays of sun, and can lead to irritation, hair loss and potential skin cancers.

It's important that you protect your dog's ears, nose, lips belly, groin and the tip of the tail.

The first step: Use a pet-safe sunscreen that doesn't contain ingredients that can be toxic to pets. Your veterinarian can help you select the product best for your pet; some dog breeds are more susceptible to sunburn.
